Objective: To compare the effect of antenatal motor relearning approach of diaphragm, deep abdominal and pelvic floor exercises versus kegels exercises on postpartum pelvic floor muscle strength.
Design: Quasi experimental, Post test only design with a comparison group
Setting: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, PSG Hospitals.
Participants: 78 antenatal women randomly selected. Among the 78 women, 39 each were assigned to Group A (interventional group) and to Group B (control group). Finally 21 women in each group continued the treatment program. • Group A- antenatal motor relearning approach of diaphragmatic, deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles • Group B - kegels exercises Outcome Measure: The pelvic floor muscle strength was measured using Perineometer on the third postnatal day.
Results: Data from 42 women were analyzed. Independent 't' test was used as statistical tool. It has been found that there is significant difference in the postpartum pelvic floor muscle strength between the interventional and control group. The mean difference between the interventional and control group were 1.762mm hg. The calculated 't' value using independent 't' test was 3.584 which was greater than tabulated test statistic value of the 1.960 at (p<0.05).
Conclusion: The pelvic floor muscle strength was comparatively greater among the women who performed antenatal motor relearning approach than kegels exercise group. Hence antenatal Motor Relearning approach of diaphragmatic, deep abdominal and pelvic floor exercises can be implemented during a normal pregnancy unless precluded by additional risk factors.

The rapid growth of the internet and e-commerce provide new opportunities for the retailer to enter into a new form of business format namely E-Retailing. E-Retailing is the term which refers to the selling of goods and services electronically through internet. Now, E-retailing integrates the business worldwide opening up huge opportunity to connect with the customer. In this format of business, information on Price is more transparent and the choices are much more than those available in retail stores. The research explores reasons for choosing online shopping option and main factors affecting the consumer choice for online shopping. On the basis of the sample survey administered on the selected customers of Chennai, Tamilnadu, the Consumer perception towards online shopping has been observed and analysis on the customer's loyalty towards certain website has been carried out in this paper. Major findings are that (i) Presently, most of the consumers started giving priority towards their convenience, which is provided through on line shopping option, (ii) most of them shifted to on line shopping due to lack of time occurring for change in lifestyle . This study will help retailers to effectively enhance their business if they choose to have presence in the on line mode of business.Keywords

A three-phase buck-boost AC Regulator was proposed, which is controlled by two phases. The circuit characteristic is analyzed by the simulation considering the dissipation and charging of semiconductor devices and inductors. Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and ripple of an input current and an output voltage increase when an inductive component increases in the load. Variation appears at the phases of buck-boost ratio. Due to the inductive components in the load the resonance frequency has been changed. THD in the output voltage is improved when the capacitance in the output filter is changed to adjust the resonance frequency of the output circuit. The experimental results presented in the paper evidence both the improvement of power factor and also shows the FFT analysis with good accuracy and robustness in a particular duty ratio and THD, thus validating the proposed approach. Finally the paper outlines associated with the development of buck-boost ratio according to the load power factor variation.Keywords

Low-density parity-check with Length-compatible and low error floors (LDPC-LCLEF) on the binary symmetric channel is presented in this paper. These codes can support a wide range of lengths for a given rate and also the Tanner graphs are free of small trapping sets. This can be obtained by applying the schemes of shortening and puncturing to good LDPC codes and the trapping sets are selected using the trapping set ontology based on their relative harmfulness for the given decoding algorithm. The conventional approach does not guarantee to have a good performance as the degree distributions may be wildly varied. In this paper, a modified algorithm is presented to generate LDPC codes of a given rate with almost their degree distributions are same as the mother code degree distribution. Also the relative harmfulness for different trapping sets are evaluated and decoding failures of one trapping set in presence or absence of other trapping sets are analyzed. To facilitate this discussion, a new description of structured LDPC codes with arrays of permutation matrices as parity-check matrices is given. Numerical results show that the LDPC code constructed by this approach performed much better than the conventional approach.Keywords

All most all the real world application makes use of network communication. The security of multimedia information in general and the security of visual information in fastidious have increasingly become an issue of great concern in our networked society. Therefore it is necessary to improve the network security for secured communication among users of the network. Numerous techniques and methods are available to assure the network security. Most popular among the available techniques is the use of cryptography. The cryptographic key generation alone has some limitations. That there is a fear that the network user may forget their password and they may loss their key or it may be stolen. This usually led to the fact that the network of the user can be easily accessed by an illegitimate user. A solution to this problem can be derived using biometrics along with cryptographic key generation technique. There are several ways to combine biometrics with a cryptosystem, namely biometrics key release, biometrics key generation and biometrics key binding. These biocryptosystems make use of the advantages of both biometrics and cryptography. This paper presents a survey on various techniques for biometric based authentication and network security. This paper discusses some of limitations of the earlier proposed techniques on biometric authentication and network security. Additionally, this paper also discusses some of the ideas to enhance the accuracy of the biometric authentication system and therefore the network security.

This paper presents the implementation of back propagation algorithm (BPA), Fuzzy logic (FL) and graylevel co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) in identifying the exudates in diabetic retinopathy (DR) images. Human eyes are affected due to malnutrition and other present day exposure of eyes to different environments as continued work on the computer, watching television, watching small screen sized mobile phones. The eyes are strained in one form or other and damage to the nerves of the eyes occur which can be called DR, glaucoma and many other types. Representative features are obtained from the image. They are used for training the implemented algorithms. The performance of the three algorithms in identifying the exudates are presented.Keywords

Tomato is one of the important vegetable crops being cultivated throughout India. Rapid deterioration of stored vegetable seeds is a serious problem which occurs at an increasing rate in uncontrolled storage environment. The present study was aimed at investigating the effects of zinc oxide nanoparticles (nano-ZnO) on tomato seeds during aging. The experimental treatments included four concentrations of nano sized ZnO (400, 600, 800, and 1000 mg/kg), and control (without any ZnO ) on fresh and aged seeds. Results indicated that the highest and the lowest vigour index (1986 vs. 1521) were obtained in 600mg concentration of nano sized ZnO and control treatments,, respectively in fresh seeds. During aging, vigour index was maintained significantly as 995 with 600mg nano sized ZnO treated seeds when compared with control (495). This study shows that employing ZnO nanoparticles could reduce tomato seed deterioration during aging and promote the seed germination.Keywords

A sensitive, specific, precise and cost effective High Performance Liquid Chromatographic method of analysis for dipyridamole in presence of its degradation products is developed and validated. The method employed Targa C8 column i.e., (250 X 4.6 mm 5 μm particle size) column as stationary phase. The mobile phase consists of acetonitrile and pH3.0 buffer in the ratio 35:65 %. It is pumped through the chromatographic system at a flow rate of 1.2 ml /min. The UV detector is operated at 282 nm. This system was found to give good resolution between dipyridamole and its degradation products. Method was validated as per ICH guidelines.Keywords
